Thanks for joining in on our journey towards creating our forever family...
This is the place you can come to witness the adventures we experience as we adopt our child from the beautiful country of St. Vincent and the Grenadines. We hope you will come back often to learn about where we're at in the process, the culture of our child, our hopes and dreams, and to leave comments of encouragement.
Also, be sure to check out older posts by clicking on the link at the bottom of each page titled "older posts".

Thank you for all of the sharing. The photo's are so perfect...We are so grateful that everything is comfortable for the 3 of you. Asha is sooooo beautiful. A dream come true. Bless the family and their friends, for the love that they are giving you. Don't worry about you're other girls. They are just fine. We are keeping the home fires burning. Praying that you can come home sooner. We love you 3, and miss you. Mom and Dad.... Nana and Gramps XXXXXXOOOOOO
We're so happy for you guys. I can't wait to hold her and see her big brown eyes in real life! I just can't imagine what it must've felt like, sitting and waiting at the airports, finally getting to where you needed to be and then walking into Ahsa's room and seeing her for the very first time. It's awesome!!!!
So happy to hear things are going well!! Very excited for you!!! it must all seem like you are in a dream!!! ..You are living out a dream!! Take care!! Curtis and Melissa

Hey guys, we are all waiting for updates. Is your life too busy now chasing after that cute little bundle? :) I also wanted to wish Desiree a Happy Mother's Day tomorrow, I know how special it will be for you. It is still cold here, it even snowed on Thursday night - only in Saskatchewan.
What great news, you made the leap of faith and went off to find your dear little Asha, Bravo! We can relate only too well. tried calling you this morning but got your voice mail, will try again later. Any luck meeting Toni at the Bounty? She would be excited to see you and meet your little angel. Enjoy these amazing first days and thanks for the great posts. God Bless :>) James
Wow! Thanks for posting you pictures and your journey! What a great experience! I am praying for all of you! Our paperwork is in St. Vincent now and watching your journey on your blog makes the process seems quicker and so real!!! Thank you! Kara Mountney
We first met in 1998 on a date and chat line. After a few quick conversations and many songs later, we knew we were perfect for each other. We were married a few years later in 2002 and to this day, we still act like a high school couple who are in their first month of going "steady".
After five years of infertility and the yearning to begin a family, we decided to go the route of adoption. We chose the little country called St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
We began the process in May 2008, had our referral for Asha November 7, 2008 and left to go and pick up Asha April 26, 2009.
We are now finally home with our precious daughter and each morning we awake, we thank God for the perfect little miracle he blessed us with.
